Jennifer Weems has always desired to assist and fight for people and families in times of need. She attended Georgia State University and received a B.S. in Social Work. Her background in social work allows her to provide legal assistance and compassionate counseling to you and your family. Mrs. Weems attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where she was on the Dean's List and was awarded the Dean's Award for Commitment to Public Service. During law school, Ms. Weems worked on mass torts in a civil litigation firm and also as a court attendant in the Jefferson County Domestic Relations Court.
Mrs. Weems started her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Calhoun/Cleburne District Attorney's Office. She started as a domestic violence prosecutor and was quickly moved in the position of lead prosecutor and trial attorney for all crimes against children, sex crimes and domestic violence. During her 8 years at the District Attorney's Office, Mrs. Weems participated in numerous jury trials beyond her specified case load on charges ranging from murder to possession of a forged instrument. This allowed Mrs. Weems to develop an invaluable skillset as a trial attorney.
